Which web-related services does
Switchfast offer?
As with all of Switchfast's service offerings, we strive to
offer a complete package because we know you save money, time, and
energy when you can just deal with one vendor for all of your
needs. Switchfast offers website design, website development,
search engine optimization, social media management, conversion
optimization, PPC management, website analytics, flash media design
and development, video production, web-based software development,
copywriting, blogging, and marketing consulting.

If our staff makes changes using
the CMS, how will they know how to avoid ruining your SEO efforts?
If they want to add content, how can they be sure it is optimized
as well?
If your staff wants to alter optimized pages, copy consulting is
included in our monthly SEO package. However, if you don't want to
hassle with the optimization at all, Switchfast has copywriters on
staff that will update and add content at your request, at an
additional fee.

We noticed on the Assumptions
page that Switchfast requires we let you host the web site. Our
current web site is hosted by X Provider while our email is hosted
by Y Provider. Will this be a problem?
That would not be a problem. We have customers who host their
sites and email separately. In fact, doing so will help you stay
below your hosting storage limits.

After the site is developed, we'd
like to be able to maintain and modify it ourselves. That is, we'd
like to minimize the need for Switchfast to make changes beyond the
scope of the project. Is this possible?
That makes sense and is the most cost-effective route for you to
take. It's also one of the reasons why we recommend our CMS and a
new design. A well designed site will be structured in such a way
that won't limit additional pages, and with the CMS, you'll be able
to add content, photos, videos, etc yourself. We would only need to
be brought in if you needed further design and/or programming work
(if you wanted to make significant changes to the
look/functionality of the site).

What does the monthly fee under
"Content Management System" cover?
Our CMS and Hosting package covers use of the CMS, web and email
hosting, and spam filtering.

What kind of analytics reports
can we expect?
On a monthly basis, you can receive as much, or as little, data
as you'd like. Some customers request not to be inundated with
data, but our management and research of your site's optimization
would be guided by a set of very detailed reports. We can make
these reports available to you as often as weekly (though our
recommendation would be that it would be more useful for you to
view them monthly).

What kind of results can we
expect? How do PPC and Social Media fit into the
equation?
You will see an immediate increase in your search prominence
from the upfront work that's done. The speed and increments of your
gradual improvement after that depend on how many different sources
you have feeding traffic to your site. Think of your website volume
like a container that you want to fill with water. The more faucets
you have turned on adding to the container, the faster it will get
filled. Adding some complexity to it, there are other sites
competing for your traffic, and some phrases are much more
competitive than others, so alternative sources driving traffic are
important. There will be certain keyphrases that aren't very
competitive and which allowed easy ascension to the first page. For
others the competition is fierce, so getting to the first page, and
staying there, will take time. The more alternative channels we
have open to feed traffic to our site (Pay Per Click, Facebook,
LinkedIn, Blogs, etc), the better we're able to bridge that gap in
the short term, and continue growing traffic over the long
term.
