Can Your Company Benefit from Google Buzz?

Google has come a long way from being a lowly search engine -
they are now entering the social networking industry with the
introduction of Buzz, a social media tool designed to create a more
interactive setting within Gmail. Not only is it accessible
via Gmail, but you can geo-tag any comment or social interaction
through mobile devices.
In theory, this sounds like the next step for Google - with a
large network of followers, it only makes sense to continue with
ways for their consumers to constantly interact.

will this translate into enterprise?
In an article by Tony Bradley over at CIO.com, he explains that
the "ability to collaborate in real-time is an aspiration for many
enterprise solutions," and "social information is important to
businesses." As of right now, "Google needs to figure out how
to integrate the enterprise and consumer services, but provide IT
administrators with the tools necessary to restrict or deny
access."
