Microsoft Announces Pricing for Office 2010

CNET reports that Microsoft has set pricing
for individual versions of Office 2010, due to be released later
this year. Each version will be available in a boxed version that
can be installed on up to two computers, and a downloadable version
that can only be used for one computer. Keep in mind that pricing
for volume licenses will be different. Prices and versions
below:
- Office Professional - Boxed: $499; Download: $349
- Office Professional (Academic) - Download: $99
- Office Home and Student - Boxed: $149; Download $119
- Office Home and Business - Boxed: $279; Download: $199
Notes:
Office Home and Student will be available in a family pack that
allows up to three installations. The academic version of Office
Professional will be available only at campus bookstores and
special retailers. Office Home and Student does not include
Outlook. All versions include the new Office Web Apps.
