Important Microsoft IE Security Update Coming Tuesday

Not all Microsoft updates are essential, often dealing with small bugs or program features. However, all Windows users should be sure to download the update scheduled for this coming Tuesday, 12/8/2009, especially those that use Internet Explorer 8.

The update will address a number of "critical" security holes, including one involving IE that could allow a hacker to take control of your computer.
