Setting up Outlook 2003 for a Switchfast hosted POP3 account

Open Outlook 2003. Under Tools, select Email Accounts.

Select Add a new e-mail account, and click Next.

Under Server Type, select POP3 and click Next.

Enter the following information:

• User Information: Enter the user's first and last name, and also their new email address
• Incoming Mail Server: pop.switchfasttech.com
• Outgoing Mail Server: smtp.switchfasttech.com
• Login Information: The Username is their FULL EMAIL ADDRESS and the password is specific to the user

Hit the More Settings button and choose the Outgoing Server tab. You will need to check My Outgoing Server (SMTP) requires authentication. Make sure that the option to Use same settings as my incoming mail server is also selected.

Switch to the Advanced tab, and change the Outgoing Mail Server Port to 587.

Click OK and close out the accounts window. Test the email account by sending an email to that address.
