Quick fix for Internet Explorer 8 crashing with
faulting module urlmon.dll
Open Internet Explorer and go to Tools -> Internet
Options.
In the Internet Options window, click the
Security tab. Select the Restricted Sites icon,
then click the Sites button.
Check to see if you have websites listed under the restricted
sites.
To fix the problem, download the DelDomains.zip file
(written by Mike Burgess). Once the file has been downloaded,
unzip it, right click the DelDomains.inf file, and choose
Install.
To make sure the fix worked, you can check out the Restricted
Sites list by following the same instructions above. This
time, there should be no sites listed.
